The 2011 earthquake and following tsunami in Japan left behind incredible devastation. We all saw the footage on tv and were shocked about the unfolding events.
Soon after the catastrophe happened we started to talk about what we could do to help. As airline crew we spent a lot of time in Tokyo Narita over the years. Some of us flew there once a week, some of us less frequently.
But we all have something in common: We always enjoyed the Japanese hospitality and friendliness. Time to give something back!
And here we are trying to do exactly that by carrying out this project.
